Leading with Purpose at Protrans: Kiran Morarji
Kiran Morarji’s journey at Protrans Personnel Services has been shaped by a strong focus on people, performance and meaningful impact.
Protrans Personnel Services is a full-service recruitment company supporting customers with their workforce needs in transportation, warehousing and distribution, manufacturing and administrative placements.
Since joining the team, Kiran has been driven by a clear sense of purpose.
“What initially drew me to Protrans was the opportunity to build something meaningful in a fast-paced, people-driven business,” he said.
That motivation quickly aligned with a culture rooted in collaboration, accountability and practical problem-solving.
“From the beginning, it was clear our team works closely together to support clients and candidates,” he said, adding that the strong foundation of Irving values continues to inspire him.
Today, as the Branch Manager in Ontario, Kiran leads recruitment operations across multiple markets, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term strategy. His role includes supporting a team of recruiters, strengthening client relationships and ensuring consistent delivery.
“A big part of my role is balancing execution with strategy,” he said. “We ensure we are filling roles efficiently today while also building scalable processes and developing our team for long-term growth.”
Kiran has continued to build his leadership skills throughout his career, recently completing the Future Leader Program as part of J.D. Irving, Limited’s Emerging Talent development program. The experience provided valuable opportunities to connect with peers and gain new perspectives across the business, further strengthening his approach to leadership.
“What an honour it was to associate with such bright minds,” he said.
These experiences have reinforced his focus on accountability, consistency and team development. Still, what matters most to Kiran is the growth of those around him.
“Seeing individuals grow into stronger performers who take on more responsibility is something I take a lot of pride in.”
