JDI Sponsors NB Women’s Curling Champs!

JDI Finance tax associate Jennifer Armstrong is part of a winning team that will represent New Brunswick this month at the National Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sydney, N.S.

 

Jennifer is the second of the Team Crawford Rink that went undefeated in five rounds at the New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts last month in Moncton.   

 

Jennifer's team mates – Skip, Andrea Crawford; Lead, Katie Forward; and Third, Jillian Babin are based out of the Thistle St Andrews Curling Club in Saint John.

 

 

 

"We all just want to go out and do our best; and I'm so proud to be part of this team representing our province", said Armstrong who started curling as a young girl at the Riverside Curling Club in Rothesay, NB.

 

Jennifer is a Bachelor of Administration graduate of UNB with Honours in Accounting. She’s been with JDI for two years as a tax associate. She has her CPA destination and is currently working toward her In-Depth Tax Certificate.   

 

"Jennifer is well rounded, she's a great teammate she brings a lot of creativity and intensity, said Skip Andrea Crawford. And we really appreciate the sponsorship from JDI!”

The Scotties Tournament of Hearts, which is the national women’s curling championships, is taking place Feb. 16- 24 at Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
