J.D. Irving, Limited Supports Moncton Swimmer for Paralympic Games in Rio

J.D. Irving, Limited is proudly sponsoring Canada’s youngest swimmer at the Rio Summer Paralympics, Moncton’s Danielle Dorris.

The thirteen-year-old athlete will compete in Rio beginning September 7. Danielle’s road to Rio began just three years ago at the age of ten, when she channeled her love of the water into swimming lessons and then competitive swimming.

Danielle, born with only a portion of her arms, will compete in the 100 metre butterfly, 100 metre backstroke, and the 200 metre individual medley.

“Danielle is an exceptional and inspiring young New Brunswicker. We’re so proud to support her Paralympic journey and cheer her on,” said Mary Keith, Vice President of Communication with J.D. Irving, Limited.
