JDI is proud to offer a $3000 per year financial award and paid work term, all on the way to your professional accounting designation. Recipients will have the opportunity to get to know our top team of professionals within JDI Finance, and gain very valuable experience through exposure to diverse businesses within the organization. 

Applications must meet the following criteria: 

• A third-year Business or Commerce student at UNB Fredericton, UNB Saint John, Université de Moncton, or Mount Allison
• Plan to pursue an accounting designation
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA

JDI is committed to seeking qualified accountants and business graduates, as part of its continuing support for students focused on careers in the field of accounting. JDI is committed to employee development, and the company is an approved training office for the Chartered Professional Accountant designation program.

Alex attended UNB Fredericton and majored in Accounting and Finance. He is currently working with JDI Finance’s Accounting and Reporting team, focused on work with Sunbury Transport, while continuing his education towards becoming CPA certified. 

The 2013 Accounting Incentive Award Recipient, Justin Robichaud, is also now a full-time employee with JDI Finance and pursuing his CPA certification. Justin received the $3000 award during his 3rd year at Université de Moncton, and says he is grateful for the opportunity provided by JDI that allows him to stay in his hometown, close to his friends and family.
