The following statement was issued today by J.K. Irving, Chairman, J.D. Irving, Limited, brother to Arthur Irving:

“On behalf of our family and all employees at J.D. Irving, Limited, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Arthur’s family, and the entire team at Irving Oil, on Arthur’s passing today.

His tremendous contributions to the company, our home town of Saint John, New Brunswick, and all of Atlantic Canada will have a lasting impact.

We shared a lifetime of memories, and he will be missed.”
