Chad Gionet, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Reliability Specialist and Matt Miller, Chemical Recovery and Utilities Superintendent of Irving Pulp & Paper, recently hosted a session on Chemical Recovery at PaperWeek Canada in Montreal. The panel facilitated an exchange of insights and experiences among members of the Eastern Canada Black Liquor Recovery Boiler Advisory Committee, fostering discussion on advancements in the field.

Gionet further emphasized Irving Pulp & Paper's commitment to this future, highlighting the company's recent announcement of a $1.1 billion investment in a new recovery boiler to replace the mill's aging 1970s-era equipment.
