New KENT store opens in Summerside, P.E.I.
KENT Building Supplies has opened a new store in Summerside, P.E.I.
The 54,500-square-foot box store at 35 Roy Boates Ave. will replace the former KENT location on Eustane Street with new features designed with both customers and contractors in mind.
“The new store will continue to provide the same world class home improvement shopping experience Summerside customers and contractors expect,” said KENT General Manager, Patrick O’Neil. “It features offerings like a drive through lumberyard and Project Centre while expanding into new products and services.”
Adding on to existing services, the new location boasts a larger and more modern Garden Centre and Cut Shop services. Deliveries will be made easier with a larger storage building and loading dock.
New offerings include appliances, a larger assortment of power tools and a Home Décor section.
The store offerings also include:
- Project Centre
- PRO Contractor Sales Desk
- An expanded Installed Sales Department
- A drive through lumberyard
- Blind cutting services
- KENT.ca order pickup
- FedEx drop off site
The new Summerside KENT store’s 78 employees will officially welcome customers as well as over 100 associates at a grand opening event on May 10, starting at 8 a.m.
