Irving Woodlands, LLC employees participate in Fort Kent Festival of Trees

Employees of Irving Woodlands, LLC in Fort Kent, Maine recently showed their commitment to community involvement by taking part in the 5th Annual Fort Kent Lions Festival of Trees. The event, which is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Lions Club, aims to raise funds for projects and donations in the Fort Kent and St. John Valley area.

This year's festival showcased 75-80 trees, each adorned with gifts and following different themes. Prizes ranged from $500 to $3,500 per tree. Attendees purchased tickets for $0.50 each and chose the tree that featured the prizes they wanted to win by dropping their tickets into buckets placed nearby. The festival drew in a diverse crowd of over 3,000 people.

The event provides a platform for fundraising, and thanks to the collective efforts of the community and the work of the Lions Club, approximately $70,000 is donated back each year to fund various projects and initiatives that benefit the local area and its residents.
