Celebrating Siblings Day: The Naves Brothers

Richard and Gary Naves share more than just a brotherly bond; they share a workplace. Both working for J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI), their careers have diverged significantly. Richard works as a Pipefitter, and Gary as the Director of Human Resources. Despite their different roles, their combined experience spans over two decades, a testament to the diverse opportunities for growth within JDI.

“Honestly, it’s been one of the most unexpected joys of my career, working alongside Richard,” says Gary. “To see the mill through his eyes, to understand the work he does – it’s been a truly unique and rewarding experience.”

Gary’s own journey at JDI began in 2006 as a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

“One of the things I appreciate the most about JDI is the opportunity to grow my career right here in my hometown,” Gary adds. “It’s fulfilling to contribute to the success of a company that invests in its people and its community.”
