JDI is coming to campus with our recruiters, leaders, and yes, even our Cavendish Farms fry truck in tow! In an effort to connect the best and brightest students to careers with JDI, we're headed to Dalhousie University and the University of New Brunswick for JDI Week!
The goal of going to campus? We want to meet and attract top student candidates and open their eyes to the breadth of opportunity at JDI. We offer experience in a variety of industries from Shipbuilding to Forestry to Consumer Products. You don't completely leave the classroom behind when you start at JDI; alongside your on-the-job training and learning you also have access to world class professional development courses.
Info sessions will be held each morning in a career fair style, with a more formal networking session taking place in the evening. JDI recruiters and university alumni who are part of the JDI team will be on hand to network and answer questions about co-op, summer and full time career opportunities. If that's not enticing enough the Cavendish Farms fry truck will be serving up free fries to students!
"We already have over 200 Dalhousie University and 650 UNB graduates as part of our team at JDI, " said Christian Schortermyer Team Lead of Campus Recruitment with J.D. Irving, Limited. "We're looking to add even more talent to our team. Take some time between classes and connect with our team; we're looking forward to meeting you!"
Both Dalhousie University and UNB are valued partners for excellent co-op students, case studies, recruitment and research.
