Seeing Double? Meet our Tree Planting Twins

June 19, 2017

Sally and Sarah are not only some of our amazing tree planters working with the J.D. Irving (JDI) Woodlands Division this summer, they are also twins. From Hampton, New Brunswick the girls say that they do everything together, including studying Education at the University of New Brunswick, and planting up to 3,000 trees a day.

Part of a team of 180 tree planters this summer, Sarah and Sally enjoy the financial benefits that come along with planting trees, as well as the food they get to eat!

Since 1957, JDI has planted almost 1 billion trees. Celebrating 60 years of tree planting in 2017, JDI will plant 20 million trees throughout the year. We would like to thank our tree planters, like Sally and Sarah, for their contribution to helping keep our forest growing!
