March 5, 2015: Over the next three years, we are forecasting over 7800 hires in our operations in Canada and the United States. We are currently hiring for our summer co-op and internship positions.

We are working to keep them home, bring them home, or make our region their home with meaningful career opportunities. As we recruit for the future of our organization, we are also working with great partners - local universities and community colleges. Our talent acquisition team has been travelling across the province to various student career fair events. They have been talking to students about our internships and co-op opportunities, as well as full-time careers.
“Most of our students get hired through our co-op terms and internships,” says Kristen Drapeau, JDI’s Manager of Student Recruitment. “It is a great way to be introduced to JDI, to start working, start learning, and start growing within our organization.”
Last summer we had over 500 students working across JDI and expect a similar number this summer.
“I started with JDI in 2013 as a co-op student working in the IT Division for Retail, and was offered a position in the IT Division as a business analyst prior to completing my last work term,” says Chris McCavour, business analyst with JDI. “The co-op program is a great launching pad for starting your career with JDI.”
